Crime scene investigation. It’s all over the TV. Some technician is dusting for fingerprints. Another is photographing a room where something bad went down. Still another is carefully bagging and labeling evidence. But did you know technicians actually do these things in real life? It’s forensics, the recognition, collection, identification, and interpretation of physical evidence for criminal law purposes.
The Forensic Investigation program at MCC provides you with a specialization in forensic investigation as it relates to crime. Our curriculum presents a specialized scope of knowledge about forensic photography, the collection and preservation of evidence, and investigative strategies. Our program provides you with an important knowledge base for investigative specialization in a wide range of disciplines and careers.
