Imagine a career that requires nothing less than your personal best. A career you’re highly trained for, yet learn from on a daily basis. One where you help others in need and sometimes even save lives. Imagine a career as a paramedic.
The highest-level EMT on an emergency response team, the paramedic provides advanced emergency on-scene treatment, crisis intervention, and life-saving stabilization. Often, this will include the transport of ill or injured patients to definitive emergency medical and surgical treatment facilities, such as hospitals and trauma centers.
The Paramedic program at MCC features knowledgeable practicing instructors, specialized content experts, hands-on learning, and a well-balanced curriculum. It’s a complete and comprehensive immersion into the emergency medical services field.
The Paramedic program gives you the opportunity to receive an ALS Paramedic certification in addition to an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science (AAS). The AAS Degree at MCC is fully transferrable to state universities in Arizona and was designed to prepare and engage students in their future careers.
