Business and Information Systems Scholarship

The Business and Information Systems Scholarship is funded by faculty, staff, retirees, and alumni of the Business and Information Systems Department at Mesa Community College (MCC), as well as by private businesses and corporations. The funds available allow the department to award multiple $250.00 - $500.00 scholarships each school year. Awards may only be used for expenses related to MCC enrollment, such as tuition, fees, and textbooks.

General Requirements:

Applicants must have completed 12 credit hours at MCC, have an MCC cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, plan to enroll at MCC during the summer and/or fall semesters, and be majoring in an MCC Business and Information Systems Department program, which includes General Business, Real Estate, Computer Information Systems, Web Technology, Networking, and other areas. Employees, including adjunct faculty, and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply. This restriction does not pertain to students who are employed as student -workers.

Mesa Community College uses an online application process to select students for many other scholarships. Applications are scored by an on-site scholarship committee made up of faculty and staff. The online application is available once a year usually between January and March.
