The Edward H. Snider Memorial Scholarship offered by the Business and Information Systems Department is funded by faculty, staff, retirees, and alumni of the Business and Information Systems Department at Mesa Community College (MCC), as well as by private businesses and corporations. The funds available allows the department to award multiple $500.00 scholarships each school year. Awards may only be used for expenses related to MCC enrollment, such as tuition, fees, and textbooks.
Applicants must have completed 12 credit hours at MCC, maintained a 2.5 GPA, and be majoring in an MCC Business and Information Systems Department program, which includes General Business, Real Estate, Computer Information Systems, Web Technology, Networking, Business Transfer, and other areas.
