Work Study Positions

The Theatre & Film Arts Department supports a number of work study positions each semester. Interested students would get the opportunity to work in one of the various production areas that support the Theatre & Film Arts mainstage season productions.

If you are interested in becoming a work study within our department please contact the production area supervisor for your area of interest.

Scene Shop Work Study

Area Head: Stephanie Salem - stephanie.salem@mesacc.edu

Job Description: Assists with the construction of various scenic elements associated with the Theatre & Film Arts Mainstage productions. This may include but is not limited to Carpentry, Metalworking/Fabrication, Rigging Applications, Scene Painting and Props Construction.

Costume Shop Work Study

Area Head: Mallory Prucha - mallory.prucha@mesacc.edu

Job Description: Assists with the construction of various costume elements associated with the Theatre & Film Arts Mainstage productions. This may include but is not limited to Sewing, Patterning and Draping.

Lighting/Sound Work Study

Area Head: Troy Buckey - troy.buckey@mesacc.edu

Job Description: Assists with the Lighting and Sound needs of the Theatre & Film Arts department. This would include participating in the hang and focus of lighting instruments, setup of theatrical audio equipment and maintenance of various equipment.

Box Office Work Study

Area Head: Marisa Estrada - marisa.estrada@mesacc.edu

Job Description: Would assist the Box Office Coordinator in the daily operations associated with ticket sales for the Theatre & Film Arts Mainstage productions.
