The new center is a comprehensive one-stop shop that assists veterans with registering for classes, requesting benefits, deferring tuition, signing up for book advances, and many other steps within their educational journey.

Additionally, the center offers an informal meeting area for students to congregate and meet other veteran students.

Approximately 1,000 veteran students are enrolled at MCC, representing all five service branches. Recently, MCC was awarded the Military Friendly Designation by Victory Media, which honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
