Humphrey Fellows to Speak on Human Trafficking

MESA, Arizona -- March 12, 2015 -- Two visiting Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows will make presentations on human trafficking Monday, March 23 at Mesa Community College and Wednesday, March 25 at Scottsdale Community College.

Milos Dordevic, senior criminal police investigator with the Ministry of the Interior in Serbia, and Vanessa Fusco Nogueira Simões, a public prosecutor and creator of the first cyber-crime prosecution office in Brazil, will discuss trafficking prevention efforts in their regions.

Students, faculty and community members are welcome to attend these free events. The presentation at Mesa Community College, 1833 W. Southern Ave., Mesa, will be from 9-9:50 in the Library, room 145.

Scottsdale Community College will host the discussion from 2-2:50 p.m. in the school’s Copper Room. SCC is located at 9000 E. Chaparral Road, Scottsdale, Ariz.
