Transfer to MCC

So you know you want to attend MCC, but you don't know how to transfer the credits you already have.  These steps will help navigate you through the process.

Step 1

Make the decision to transfer your credits to MCC.

Credit Requirements:

  • No more than 30 hours of credit may be transferred
  • An equivalent of a “C” in the course, or a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, must be awarded to attain credit
  • The credit must be a college level course from an accredited school

Step 2

Send your official transcripts to the Admissions & Records office to be evaluated for credit. The address is:

Step 3

An unofficial transcript of your transfer credits can help your academic advisor take previous course work into account when creating your academic plan.
