Degree Plans

ALL Veteran students must have a degree plan listed with the Department of Veteran Affairs. Students must come into the Veterans Services Office to discuss a degree plan, and ensure that all classes being attended are within that degree plan.

It is a VA requirement that MCC's Veterans Services Office maintain a degree plan for each student's educational objective.

  • In order to discuss a degree plan with the Veterans Services Office, students need to bring ALL prior college transcripts to the office.

  • Failure to have a degree plan properly drawn up by the Veterans Services Office while pursuing your VA stated educational objective can result in a delay of payment.

  • If you have not had a VA degree plan completed by the Veterans Services Office, please do so as soon as possible. It is the student's responsibility to ensure this is properly done.

  • Notify the Veterans Services Office of All CHANGES in degree plan pursuit selection.
