Rapid Response: New Works Festival
About this event
The Rapid Response: New Works Festival is a free event that centers around work written by students and instructors. Some of the plays were written prior to the new era of Social Distancing. Our actors are a collection of future and current students, Alumni, Faculty, and members of our theatre community.

Our virtual house will open 30 minutes before each performance is slatted. Join us prior to our performance and ground yourself in the world of the play by exploring the Theoretical designs that have been created by Students in MCC’s THP 268 course. 15 minutes before the performance you will also be welcomed into small group conversations with our Directors, Mace Archer and Natalie Payan.
After all productions, there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and give feedback to the playwrights, directors, and the company. New Work flourishes with feedback from audiences so we hope that you are able to take advantage of joining us for our post-show talk-backs.
