Emigdio Arredondo Martinez, M.F.A. for a lecture and movement experience. Martinez will discuss his experience as an alumni from MCC Dance and will share the story of his journey to receiving his M.F.A from the University of Arizona and becoming a successful dancer, film editor and artist.
The focus of this discussion will be to bring forward issues of race, sexuality, and identity in dance and our Arizona communities. Martinez will share his experience as a Queer, Latinx Dancer with emphasis on how these identities have informed his experience in dance, academia our world.
