About this event
Opening Reception: Thursday, February 10, 6-9pm.
Exhibition Runs: 2.4.2022 - 3.4.2022
Gallery Hours: Mon-Thur 9-5pm
This exhibition explores several different genres in contemporary art practice including internet art, digital art, augmented realities, glitch art, post-digital art and the role that artificial intelligence plays in creativity. The interest in these themes has grown throughout the cultural landscape of Arizona in recent years which has a large community of cultural creatives working at the forefront of interactive design, motion graphics, experimental film and video, intermedia art, immersive environments, and much more. With venues like Wonderspaces, the Thoma Foundation, Walter Productions, and the Atari Hotel popping up throughout the state, this exhibition represents a unique opportunity to connect with the growing culture of digital entertainment and fine art practices that have gained a foothold in Arizona and which promise to continue to expand in the decades ahead. Please join us for the opening on February 10th from 6-9pm to see the work of 50+ artists from around the world.
