The MCC Music Department presents The Desert Echoes Flute Project on May 6 at 7:30pm
Join the flutists of the Desert Echoes Flute Project on their musical journey May 6th at 7:30 pm at the MCC Performing Arts Center! 'Railroaded' by Nicole Chamberlain sends them on their way to 'A Journey with Love' by Phyllis Avidan Louke, a view of the 'Borealis' by Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda, they go birding with the three movement work 'Summer Tern' by Emerson Eads, gaze at distant stars with Australian composer Sam Cooke's depiction of the solar system, 'Astral Architecture', Bohemian Dance by Claude Debussy, Danse Nègre from African Suite by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and Canzona "La Padovana" by Lodovico Grossi da Viadana.
