The Automotive Service program at MCC prepares you for a career as an automotive technician or mechanic.

You’ll learn how to diagnose, service, test, and repair complex, computer-controlled automotive electrical systems. Our program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a "live" working environment similar to the service industry.

An emphasis is placed on developing good diagnostic skills. As a graduate of the program you’ll acquire essential entry-level skills and prepare you for national ASE Certification Tests, making you a highly marketable job seeker.

In addition to an associate’s degree, the Automotive Service program offers three certificates of completion:

  • Engine Performance and Diagnosis
  • Brakes, Alignment, Suspension and Steering; Transmissions and Power Trains
  • Automotive Electrical Systems and Air Conditioning

About MCC’s Automotive Service Program
