Propel your love of cars into a high-tech automotive career. Mesa Community College is one of four colleges in Arizona and one of two Maricopa Community Colleges offering Subaru-U.
Learn by working on state-of-the-art Subaru vehicles using a training program provided to the college and MCC students by the automaker.
Subaru-U is an exceptional, original-equipment manufacturer education program that partners Subaru of America, retailers and high performing, ASE Foundation-accredited colleges such as MCC.
Subaru Web-Based Training (WBT) is integrated into MCC’s existing curriculum, offering the entry-level 1 and 2 training that is required of Subaru technicians. Once a student becomes employed at a Subaru Dealership, further advancement is available with the Subaru Level 3 Instructor-Led training. Course materials cover subjects such as Repair Order Write Up, Introduction to Subaru Tech Information Systems (STIS), Generic Hybrid, Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH), along with theory and diagnosis of major vehicle systems.
The Automotive Service Program provides essential entry-level skills and prepares graduates to pass the national ASE Certification Tests, making them highly marketable job seekers.
