The month of November is National Native American Heritage Month, MCC's American Indian Institute will be hosting several events that celebrate and recognize the history, heritage and culture of Indigenous Peoples.
Join us for our Indigenous Nations Month Kick-off event on Nov. 1, 2022 from 9am-11am- MU Patio. During this event you will be welcomed by American Indian Institute staff, a breakfast buffet, Indigenous food demonstration, Spoken Word Poetry from award-winning two spirit storyteller Taté Walker and a live cultural performance from the Theodore Roosevelt School White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers
