Greetings, MCC staff and faculty.

The ASMCC Student Government has been working on a forum for our candidates for Mayor of Mesa, Scott Smith and Mark Freeman, to talk with and answer questions from students, staff and any attendees interested in knowing more about our city's candidates. The official name is Your Mesa, Your Voice Mesa Mayoral Candidate Forum. The event will include:

  • timed candidate introductions, a Q&A and closing remarks lasting about 1 hour total
  • an informal meet and greet session between candidates and attendees
  • food sponsored by Venezia's New York Style Pizza

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE to:

  • hear firsthand from the candidates about their plans for Mesas future
  • ask questions about the issues that matter most to YOU (affordable housing, education, jobs, transportation, sustainability, etc.)
  • learn how each candidate will support students and young professionals as we work toward a brighter future for our city

As members of the MCC community, our voices matter. Mesas future will be shaped by those who lead, and this is our chance to make sure our concerns and ideas are heard.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to get involved in the political process and make your voice count! Lets show the candidates that the students, staff and faculty of MCC care about the future of our community.
