Dr. Andrew Holycross is one of only three Arizonans who have hiked the length of the Grand Canyon on both sides of the Colorado River. Holycross and his wife hiked the Grand Canyon many times together, but during a trip in February 2012, she fell and tragically died. They were married for just nine months. The couple had planned to do this rare hike together, so Holycross accomplished it in her memory. (5/26/14)
