The seventh annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative University will take place this weekend at Arizona State University in Tempe. Former President Bill Clinton, Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton will meet with more than 1,000 student leaders from around the world. The students will work at developing solutions to human rights abuses, women’s social and economic empowerment, and HIV/AIDS in the United States. Jacqueline Smith, ASU Executive Director of University Initiatives, will talk about the event, along with two of the student participants: ASU students Kathleen Stafanik (MCC alumna) and Josue Macias.
