Phoenix New Times includes Tempe artist Frank Gonzales in Best Art of Phoenix, for his work Adaption.  Classically trained in painting at Mesa Community College, he recalls being inspired at a young age by "the unbelievable stillness and separation" of taxidermy birds in natural history museums. This piece was recently featured in "Frank Gonzales: A Vivid Gaze" presented by Scottsdale Public Art and Scottsdale Public Library in the Appaloosa Library exhibition space.  Best Art in Phoenix...

MCC alum Jacob Sorenson’s resume reads like that of a seasoned professional. This fall, he has transferred into Arizona State University as a junior majoring in applied biological sciences at the Polytechnic campus and a student in Barrett, The Honors College.
