MESA, Arizona – April 13, 2015 -- Mesa Community College students will benefit from the more than $250,000 raised for MCC’s Student Scholarship Endowment fund during last Friday's Fundraising Gala and live auction at the Hilton Phoenix/Mesa.
More than 400 community members gathered to celebrate MCC’s 50th year and provide support for future students. The goal for the evening was to raise scholarship funds.
“I am again astounded by the overwhelming support and generosity of our community,” stated MCC President, Dr. Shouan Pan, “We met and exceeded our fundraising goal for the night. Over $250,000 was raised."
Endowments gifts are professionally invested and managed and the interest is used to provide reliable, yearly funds for programs, services, and scholarships for MCC students.
Individuals or groups wishing to make an investment in higher education in our community may do so by making a donation online at mesacc.edu/giving/ways-give or by calling MCC’s Development Office at 480-461-7200.
