Notes: This course, designed for majors and non-majors, meets twice a week in the lab and will involve students in the national undergraduate research project SEA PHAGE, in collaboration with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Throughout the semester, students will participate in hands-on activities focused on discovering viruses in soil samples. This immersive experience aims to develop practical research skills and a great understanding of viral biology. Lab Notes: Students registering for class 32053 must also register for lab 32055.
