CON210 Carpentry: Commercial and Residential 9 Credits

Safety, codes, layout, and construction procedures for carpentry commercial and residential aspects. Includes commercial drawings, steel framing, exterior and interior finishes, roofing applications, door hardware installation, drywall, drywall finishing, suspended ceilings, window, door, floor, and ceiling trim. Students construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CON110, or (CON110AA, CON110AB, and CON110AC), or permission of Instructor.
