Surgical treatment of periodontal disease and the effects of dental hygiene therapy, surgical techniques and maintenance therapy. Evaluation of the scientific literature and multi-media resources are used extensively.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program or permission of Instructor.
