Arizona Certified Nursery Professional (ACNP) Certification Preparation Course

The Arizona Certified Nursery Professional (ACNP) online course is offered in partnership with the Arizona Nursery Association (ANA) and Maricopa Community Colleges. It is one of the most popular educational programs in the nursery industry.

This online course is designed to increase your horticultural knowledge and to help prepare you to pass the Arizona Certified Nursery Professional (ACNP) exam.

This is a non-credit course created as an online study guide to prepare a student to take the AZ Certified Nursery Professional certification test. Once you have completed the course, please contact the ANA at [email protected] in order to schedule your test.

This course may be eligible for credit for prior learning upon approval from Mesa Community College and your successful passing of the ACNP certification exam. For additional information, contact Peter Conden.

Steps to Enroll

To get started taking this non-credit class to prepare for your Arizona Nursery Professional certification test:

  1. Enroll as a Non-Credit Student at MCC. Begin the process or view our tutorial for assistance. You MUST select MCC as your school when enrolling.
    • If you are enrolled as a Credit student, you MUST still enroll as a Non-Credit student.
    • Provide proof of identification during the online application process. If you are enrolled as a Credit student you do not need to provide proof of identification, but you do need to enroll as a Non-Credit student. If you are unable to provide your ID via the admissions application, you can also submit it online once you have submitted your application.
  2. Once you have been admitted, login to your Student Center using your MEID.
  3. Self-enroll in the course: Arizona Certified Nursery Professional - COMM_ED 600-15000.
  4. Pay for your class.
  5. Upon completion of steps 1-4, you will receive an email to access this self-paced online study guide.
  6. You will have access to the course for 90 days.
  7. Once you have completed the course contact the Arizona Nursery Association by visiting azna.org, emailing [email protected], or calling 480-966-1610 to schedule your certification exam.

Please note: If you started your application more than 48 hours ago, you will need to start a new application. Don't forget to write down your MEID, Student ID number, and Maricopa email address (which is activated after you are admitted).
