Chamber ensemble collaboration is essential for establishing musical communication and for improving listening skills. It engages students in a meaningful way while motivating them through social interaction with fellow musicians. Chamber Ensemble Class (MUP 181) at MCC provides an opportunity for piano students to perform four-hand piano duets in various settings such as studio classes and annual piano recitals at the MCC Performing Art Center. All piano students are strongly encouraged to participate in a Chamber Ensemble Class. This class is one of the required classes for the two Piano Pedagogy Certificates.
