Nursing Refresher Course Information
Thank you for your interest in the RN Refresher course. Please carefully review the following details about the program:
Eligibility Requirements for Spring 2025
Before proceeding, verify that you meet the following criteria:
- Licensure: You must have passed the NCLEX or hold an inactive/unencumbered nursing license. This program is NOT an NCLEX prep course.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card: You must have an active fingerprint clearance card.
- Healthcare Records: Begin collecting necessary documentation, including your healthcare records and a valid BLS card.
Application Process
- Spring 2025 Applications: Applications are still being accepted for the Spring 2025 semester, which begins January 14, 2025.
- The program includes an orientation day and two mandatory on-campus lab days 1/14,1/15,1/16. The remainder of the course will be conducted online and at your preceptorship location.
- Application Deadline: Will accept applications through to December 10, 2024. Ensure all requirements are met by this date to secure a temporary license from the State Board.
- Compliance Deadline: All required paperwork, including submission to ADB/Complio, must be completed and verified by December 10, 2024.

- The MCC RN Refresher Program is delivered online, with most program information available online as well. Please review the RN Refresher Information Packet and FAQs thoroughly.
- Basic computer skills are required to successfully complete the coursework. Refer to the eLearning Information section and review the Minimum Computer & Technology Requirements for more details.
How to Apply
- Review Eligibility Requirements: Verify that you meet all program prerequisites.
- Download Application Materials: Use the Application Packet link at the top of the program page.
- Submit Application: Email your application materials to the Program Coordinator. Pending approval, you will receive instructions for college enrollment and course registration, including health and safety compliance details.
