MCC Librarians are flexible and available to work with you and your students using a variety of formats and platforms. Below are a variety of ways we can help.

Library Instruction

Library instruction is an opportunity for students to reinforce information literacy skills and establish healthy information-seeking behaviors. Librarians customize library instruction that introduces students to library services and resources while supporting course research and assignment-specific needs. Schedule library instruction using our Library Instructional Support Request Form.

To ensure a successful instruction session:

  • Please allow a minimum 7 day lead time when scheduling live instruction;
  • Instructors are required to be present during library instruction sessions.

Canvas Content

Embed the library into your Canvas courses! Librarians have created a variety of Canvas pages and modules to reinforce information literacy skills and guide students in the research process. We can also create custom Canvas content to support your course research assignments. Request Canvas content for your courses using our Library Instructional Support Request Form.

Videos & Tutorials

MCC librarians have created a variety of videos and tutorials to introduce library resources and guide students through the research process. Check out our growing repository of videos and tutorials. Not finding what you’re looking for? Request a custom video or tutorial using our Library Instructional Support Request Form.

Research Guides

Research guides curate the best library and web resources while providing research tips and guidance for courses, topics, and events. These guides are created and maintained by MCC Librarians.
