Ducey's Budget Promises Hard Look at Government

Ducey's proposed budget cuts the appropriation for the Maricopa County Community College District by more than 50 percent. For this year, the 10-college district received about $7.4 million for its operating budget — less than 1 percent of its revenue. That reduction was partly because enrollment has declined.
