Protesters set fire to copies of high-school diplomas on Tuesday outside the offices of Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne. ASU was the No. 1-ranked institution on the Colleges & Universities list published today by the Phoenix Business Journal, with its fall 2013 enrollment being more than those of the next three schools on the list combined. Mesa Community College recently received mention in an email blast newsletter by the Graduation Pledge Alliance.  MCC encourages graduates to sign a pledge to commit to building a healthy, sustainable, and just world.  MCC has had a 129% increase in signers from 2011 to 2013 because of  increased promotion and awareness of the pledge.
