Registration Now Open for Camp Inspired!
Foundations for Student Success is sponsoring the first two days of Camp Inspired. The purpose of these two days will be to create a dialogue among faculty and staff about practices and strategies that blur the boundaries between Academic departments and Student Affairs in order to create a comprehensive, supportive path for students.
To help prepare for the institutionalizing of our professional development program, FSS worked with the Center of Teaching and Learning to combine the Summer Institute with Camp Innovate to create the new Camp Inspired!
DAY 1: May 16th 8am-3pm
GRAB YOUR PACK & GET HIKING

DAY 2: May 17th 8am-3pm
BLOOMING DESERT SCAVENGER HUNT
Day 2 is focused on strategies for making the hidden rules of college visible to students, whether this is embedding a support service in your class, promoting higher order thinking through conceptual learning, or tailoring your instruction to help support all of the students in your classroom.
Topics include: Embedding Student Services into a Course, Supporting the Success of International Ed and ESL Students, Facilitating Mathematical Discussions, Developmental Pathways, The How and Why of Student Success Strategies, and More!
