Philosophy of Service

The Mesa Community College Libraries are committed to a user-centered philosophy of service. Our purpose is to provide services, resources, and information that support college curriculum, students, faculty, staff, and community users.

Our Libraries serve a diverse community of users. The Libraries’ administration, faculty and staff respect this diversity, and we affirm that all will be treated with respect and courtesy.

Our users are individuals seeking information and resources in a productive environment for study or research. The MCC Libraries are committed to the maintenance of a productive environment, excellent services, and the provision of materials that will help them become successful in fulfilling their information needs.
