MCC Theatre & Film Arts students that have participated in competition at both regional and national levels have earned a number of awards in various categories. The second show of the fall theatre season is entered into KCACTF. This production will showcase student artists work and receive outside assessment by KCACTF respondents.

- Alexis Trujillo – 1st place for Allied Crafts, Mask Design, Special Achievement in Mask Design
- Alyssa Walsh and Megan Lopen - Recipient of the Representation, Equity and Diversity in Design Award for MCC’s production of Gin Mummy
- Melinda Reyes, Maddie Rowlison and Alexis Trujillo - Don Childs’ Design, Technology & Management Cross-Discipline Collaboration Honorable Mention for their designs for MCC’s production of Antigone.
- Kalie Hagen - Ghost Light Award for her work as stage manager for MCC’s production of Gin Mummy.

- Olivia Hardgrove - 1st place for Allied Crafts Property Design

- Ezra Storment - won a scholarship to attend a Chicago-style Comedy Workshop this summer hosted by the California State University System.
- Natalie Payán - won an Ensemble Acting Award for her role in Magical Pixie Princess Fun Time Go.

- Isabel Grasser - won the Focal Press Award in the Allied Crafts category for her makeup and hair design for the MCC production of The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow.

- Dolores Mendoza-New Play Project Best Actor,10-Minute Play, the leading role of Nan in the 10-minute play entitled Nan. The play went on to the National Competition.
