The Student Nurses' Association at Mesa Community College mentors the development of future nurses.
By providing opportunities for professional growth, SNA guides students into their chosen career with resources and direction.
We invite you to become a member. All current Nursing students are eligible to apply.
Meetings are held on the second Friday of every month from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in HW846.

Purpose
- To provide programs representative of fundamental and current professional interest and concerns;
- To nurture and develop the fullest potential of our members;
- To encourage communication and among student nurses, faculty, and nursing profession;
- To influence the environment of nursing education;
- To serve as an advocate for students in nursing education
- To prepare members for entry into professional nursing organizations upon graduation.
Function

- To promote and encourage participation in community affairs and activities toward improved health care and the resolution of related social issues;
- To represent nursing students to the consumer, to institutions and other organizations;
- To promote and encourage students' participation in interdisciplinary activities;
- To promote and encourage recruitment efforts;
- To promote and encourage collaborative relationships with nursing and related health organizations.
