Discount Bus Voucher Program

Through the MCCCD Travel Reduction Program, bus subsidies are offered to students through an online process. To qualify for a student discount, students must be enrolled in 6 or more credit hours. We offer 31-day transit pass is $32 with a choice of Local or Express.

To Purchase a discounted transit pass, visit the Office of Student Life and Leadership. Vouchers will be given out once your status as a full time student is verified. Payment will be processed by the MCC Bookstore. Discounted bus vouchers are available on a first come-first served basis and tend to go very quickly at the beginning of each semester and/or month. Additional bus passes are available for puchase at full price in the MCC Bookstore for students who do not meet the qualifications as a full time student, or in the event that we run out of discounted vouchers.

For information about the Maricopa County Community College District reduced-fare bus passes, please visit this link. Full-time and part-time employees who commute at least four days a week and ride the bus at least one of those days, are eligible for the discount. Please contact your Human Resources department.

The Valley Metro Bus is available for Dobson Road, north and southbound travel and Southern Avenue, east and westbound travel. Valley Metro bus service no longer stops directly on the Red Mountain campus, but stops near the Acacia Village parking lot on Bus route 184 (north and southbound Power Road).For specific bus route information refer to the Valley Metro website.
