Dr. Janet Zadina, a popular presenter at last year’s Foundations for Student Success Reading Summer Institute, returned to deliver a follow up workshop at this year’s Institute on “Using Multiple Pathways to Enhance and Energize Instruction.”

Dr. Zadina is a nationally recognized neuroscientist and educator specializing in how the brain learns and she shared the latest research on “brain based instruction.”

Dr. Zadina demonstrated many ways to adapt content and improve instructional methods to make it more engaging and easier to remember and process by students. By the end of the workshop, each instructor developed an action plan for the application of the Multiple Pathways Model in their classes.
