Get informed about Human Trafficking with our Phi Theta Kappa Honors in Action Project.
This Human Trafficking Awareness Week will be taking place between Monday, December 2 through Saturday, December 7.
- Monday Dec 2: we will be having a "Not My Life" Screening at the Pollack Theater on the Southeast corner of Elliot and McClintock at 7:00pm. This is free to attend! We have 290 seats.
- Tuesday Dec 3: we will have a Reception Kick-Off Event for the week at Westminster College. There will be a panel, along with a presentation. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the event starts at 7 pm.
- Wednesday Dec 4: The "Not My Life" film will be showing at MCC on both campuses: Nu 101 at Southern and Dobson and M 200 at Red Mountain.
- Thursday Dec 5: This day we will be having the Reflection Showcase event in front of the clock tower from 9:00-1:00pm. Students across MCC have been invited to showcase their service projects for International Volunteerism Week. Human Trafficking will be one of those many projects, and those interested are invited to attend the Phi Theta Kappa General Meeting from 1:30-3:00pm in NU101 to learn more.
- Friday and Saturday Dec 6&7: The Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Service-Learning will be held on this day. We will have a Human Trafficking Workshop Presentation at 1:20pm, a booth featuring Human Trafficking Information, and a "Not My Life" screening at 5:45pm
