2-day Chief Officer Workshop
This workshop provides strategic level command decision making and incident management in the role of the Chief Officer.
Students will receive instruction and be involved in managing 1st Alarm and greater fires, Hazardous Material Incidents, and complex multi-agency emergencies, including the transition from offensive to defensive strategies. Simulated scenarios will emphasize Incident Organization, to the Command Van, and function in the responsibilities of Incident Commander, Support Officer, Senior Advisor and Administrative functions.
This is a simulation intensive workshop and participants will be required to make critical decisions in real time.
*The Virtual Incident Command Center reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum registration of 8 students is not met. The VICC office will notify all students prior to the start of class if it is deemed necessary to cancel. In the event of a cancellation, students may transfer their paid class fee to a future class or receive a full refund.
