2 Day MCI/Multi-Patient EMS Workshop
This workshop focuses on examining considerations when responding to and managing various types of mass casualty/multi-patient EMS incidents.
Types of events to be considered in this workshop may be broad in nature or catered to a more specific event type: from managing a major motor vehicle accident (MMVA) to managing violent incidents and active shooter/hostile events (AS/HE).
The goal of this program is to help integrate and improved coordinated command and incident management across all responder disciplines.
Workshop participants will examine today's best practices when responding to and managing these types of events. This workshop is both classroom and simulation-based.
*The Virtual Incident Command Center reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum registration of 8 students is not met. The VICC office will notify all students prior to the start of class if it is deemed necessary to cancel. In the event of a cancellation, students may transfer their paid class fee to a future class or receive a full refund.
