MCC will be closed for Winter Break from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 until Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Services will re-open on Thursday, January 2 at 8am. Classes start January 11.
To pay for a VICC Class, you can come down to the DTC front desk and pay via credit, or call the VICC (480-461-6108), and give your card information over the phone.
Pre-payment is preferred to reserve your seat in the class.
In the event of a cancellation, we issue full refunds. If you are unable to attend a VICC class you are registered for, you must contact us one week prior to the date of the class in order to receive a full refund. After the one week date has passed, we no longer issue a refund.
If your department is paying for the class: please have them send a P.O to deana.bright@mesacc.edu once you are registered for the class.
How long does a class typically last?
Each VICC class typically lasts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; a total of 8 hours.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
You are not required to bring anything to class. However, a pen and notebook are encouraged for note taking.
What is the max amount of students per class?
The max class size typically ranges anywhere from 6-12, depending on the workshop. A minimum of 6 students is required in order to hold a class. This is to ensure that each student has a chance to fully participate in simulations.
What is the typical attire?
Participants are welcome to wear either department uniforms or civilian clothes. Whatever they feel most comfortable in.
Will there be a lunch break?
There is typically a lunch break in the middle of the day. Participants are free to bring their own lunch or pitch in for Sprout's sandwiches. Sandwich forms will be provided and turned over to Sprouts for each order. Sandwiches typically cost around $5.o0.
