Complete a FAFSA application
To receive financial aid from the government, complete the FAFSA application
Create Presidential Profile (For President's Volunteer Service Award)
Log your service hours
Join TRIO (If Eligible)
The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Start MCC and Maricopa Foundation Profiles (Take essays to writing center)
To receive any scholarship offered by MCC or the Foundation a general application must be completed.

A Strong Line and a Sturdy Pole

Get involved with Phi Theta Kappa
Through Phi Theta Kappa you can join as a member or provisional member to learn about more volunteer opportunities and scholarship resources.
Join a Student Group (Student Life and Leadership)
There are over 30 clubs on campus in which you can get involved and gain leadership experience.
Apply for MCC and Foundation Scholarship
These scholarships are geared toward MCCCD students.

Reflections on Water

Participate in at least one community service activity
Go to Center for Community & Civic Engagement KSC 35N Lower Level at S&D Campus or DW 135 at the Red Mountain Campus)
Complete a service reflection
Writing a service reflection helps you improve your writing skills. In addition, it helps you remember the details to your service activity.

Apply for at least one external scholarship
These scholarships are from various sources outside of the college.

Identify a need in the community (Significant Endeavor)
